Key Responsibilities And Tasks
- Ensure all ISF and Customs Clearance requests are sent to the assigned customs broker timely and accurately.
- Ensure all shipments are delivered on time, within scope, and within approved budgets.
- Proactively identify potential disruptions and implement corrective actions to maintain project performance.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers, building strong, long-term relationships.
- Attend client meetings, provide performance updates, and ensure alignment with customer expectations and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, agents, and internal departments to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor and manage all incoming shipments and update customer booking reports.
- Analyze transportation costs and implement cost-control strategies to optimize profitability.
- Approve and review freight invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate billing to clients.
- Contribute to pricing strategies and support commercial opportunities where applicable.
- Oversee preparation and accuracy of all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, arrival notices, delivery orders, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Provide support to the team ensuring coverage on assigned project is met.
- Foster a collaborative, performance-driven team environment.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of project data into company systems.
- Generate and present performance reports to leadership and clients.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and time management abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
