Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and care. This role involves performing various tasks to ensure the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces, including residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work with hand tools and power tools, providing essential services such as mowing, tree care, and irrigation.

Duties

• Perform regular mowing and trimming of lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
• Execute tree care tasks, including pruning and planting, to promote healthy growth.
• Operate and maintain various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Install and manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
• Conduct groundskeeping activities, including weeding, mulching, and fertilizing as needed.
• Assist in building landscape features such as garden beds, walkways, or retaining walls.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and maintaining clear communication.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Familiarity with hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (mowers, trimmers) is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• A strong understanding of plant care, including knowledge of different species and their maintenance needs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
