Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep grounds pristine.
- Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering of plants and lawns.
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health.
- Manage pest control using pesticide management techniques following safety protocols.
- Execute hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, or other outdoor structures.
- Follow safety procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment during outdoor activities.
Qualifications
- Proven outdoor work experience with knowledge of landscaping practices.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.
- Familiarity with horticulture principles, plant identification, and lawn care techniques.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety standards.
- Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pesticide management and safety protocol adherence.
