Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage inventory by ordering supplies as needed and keeping track of stock levels.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a nightclub or restaurant setting, is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and various drink recipes is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to interact with guests effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the establishment.
