Job Overview
We are seeking dependable and motivated Skilled Laborers to join our growing team. This position involves a combination of commercial construction, installation, and cable trade work. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment. Experience in construction, low-voltage cabling, electrical work, or related trades is preferred.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Assist with equipment installation and mounting.
- Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently to support construction activities
- Perform demolition work or removal of old structures as directed by supervisors
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople with their tasks
- Install cable supports, pathways, racks, and hardware.
- Operate basic power tools and machinery following safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure work environment at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment; certification in OSHA safety standards is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute as part of a team
