  • Husqvarna Water is seeking a high-impact Distributor Sales Manager to lead regional growth through strong distributor partnerships, strategic market development, and sales team collaboration. This is a leadership opportunity for a results-driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing people, and expanding market share within the Green Industry. In this role, you will own territory performance — shaping strategy, strengthening distribution channels, and accelerating adoption of industry-leading Hydro-Rain, B-hyve, Bond, and Husqvarna Water solutions. If you are energized by influencing outcomes, coaching sales professionals, and turning market insight into measurable growth, this role offers the autonomy and visibility to make a meaningful impact. 

What You’ll Do : Drive Revenue & Market Growth

  • Develop and execute regional sales and marketing strategies to achieve aggressive revenue and profitability targets
  • Expand market share through distributor development, contractor engagement, and new channel partnerships
  • Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and customer performance to guide strategic decisions
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities across irrigation, landscape, and construction segments

Build Powerful Distribution Partnerships

  • Establish and grow relationships with distributors, contractors, home builders, irrigation designers, and landscape architects
  • Manage key distributor accounts and support Contractor Advantage Program initiatives
  • Lead Husqvarna Water presence at distributor events, trade shows, and industry activities
  • Drive product demand through education, training, and field engagement

Lead Collaboration & Sales Excellence

  • Partner closely with Specification Managers and Contractor Account Managers to maximize territory performance
  • Coach and support Area Sales and Account Managers to strengthen results and execution
  • Align cross-functional teams around shared growth objectives and market strategies
  • Serve as a product and application expert for Hydro-Rain and associated brands

Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Own annual territory sales planning, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Monitor performance metrics and recommend operational or strategic improvements
  • Provide regular performance updates and market insights to senior leadership
  • Support marketing teams by identifying emerging product opportunities and customer needs

  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution in the field
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze data, evaluate performance, and translate insights into action
  • Self-directed mindset with strong collaboration skills
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3 years leading or managing others
  • Experience working with distributor-based sales models strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Spanish language skills a plus
  • Willingness to travel moderately within assigned territory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Physical & Work Environment This is a field-based role combining customer visits, events, and office work. The position may require standing, walking uneven terrain, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations are available to support qualified individuals.
