Server/Cashier

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Server/Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face that creates memorable experiences for our guests! Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and retail math.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Clear tables, bus tables, and assist in food prep or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, quick service & fast-food restaurant environments, or retail settings such as grocery stores or cafés.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or transactions efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks.
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques.
• Effective communication skills for serving guests, upselling menu items, and collaborating with team members.
