How You’ll Contribute: As a Carpenter - Construction Specialist, your contributions will include:
- Setting hollow metal frames and pre-hung door units
- Hanging doors and installing door hardware
- Erecting, assembling, and installing framing
- Installing interior and exterior trim, cabinetry, and wood blocking
- Measuring and cutting materials to required sizes
- Performing demolition work if necessary
- Installing Division 10 (Bathroom Accessories)
- Conducting wood framing, metal stud installation, window installation, flashing, and insulation
- Interacting with other field employees and subcontractors
- Utilizing your ability to read blueprints
- Minimum of five years of carpentry construction experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions:
- Works in both indoor and outdoor construction environments with exposure to various weather conditions and temperatures
- Overtime may be required
- Some work may involve elevated heights, several stories above ground or work below ground
- Out-of-town work may be required
