Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Delivery Helper to assist with the delivery and setup of furniture. This role involves supporting the delivery driver in delivering furniture and ensuring timely deliveries to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Assist the delivery driver with delivering and set up furniture
- Deliver goods to customers in a timely manner, adhering to assigned routes
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing customer questions or concerns professionally
- Tuesday-Saturday with occasionally Mondays
Skills
- Previous furniture delivering experience preferred but not require.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods safely and efficiently
- Strong physical stamina for manual labor tasks such delivering furniture upstairs
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers
- Must be able to pass a background check and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in different weather condition
