Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers in loading, unloading, and transporting furniture and appliances using box trucks or similar equipment
- Help with the assembly, installation, and setup of furniture items in customer homes or commercial spaces
- Support with appliance repair tasks, including basic troubleshooting and connecting units such as refrigerators or HVAC systems
- Read schematics and technical diagrams to aid in equipment repair or assembly processes
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely by following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and answering questions about product features or setup instructions
- Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles and equipment, ensuring readiness for each shift
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in field service roles is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions
