Responsibilities
- Learn how to structure, submit, and manage mortgage loan files from start to finish
- Collect and review borrower documentation to build complete, clean loan files
- Assist with submitting loans to underwriting and managing conditions through clear-to-close
- Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, lenders, and third parties to keep deals moving
- Track loan milestones and ensure timelines and deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate updates and notes within the loan systems
- Take increasing ownership of files and the pipeline as you grow in the role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized across multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Coachable mindset with a willingness to learn quickly and take feedback
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Self-motivated with a high level of accountability and follow-through
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
