Responsibilities
- Track of areas cleaned by room attendants and contact the front office to handle room damage or maintenance needs
- Hire and train housekeeping staff to perform cleaning duties and deliver customer satisfaction to our expectations
- Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed
- Oversee housekeeping supply inventories and submit orders to management as stock runs low
- Clean and fold laundry
- Clean and maintain the vending room
- At least 2 years experience in hospitality or guest services
- Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills
- Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED)
- Well-versed in environmental services (EVS) including sanitation protocol and procedures, and how to use cleaning supplies and equipment
- 1 years of experience in housekeeping supervision
