Responsibilities
- Sculpt and piece together siding, drywall, kitchen cabinets, and furniture
- Build door and window frames, stairways, rafters, and partitions
- Confirm flooring, roofing, and drywall are level and compatible
- Check existing sketches and blueprints to understand project requirements
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and fix structures
- Perform framing and structural repairs
- Repair wood rot and damaged decking
- Install windows, doors, siding, trim, and exterior components
- Assist with roofing systems as needed
- Ensure all work is level, plumb, square, and built to code
- Maintain clean and professional job sites
- Communicate clearly with project managers
- In-depth knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques
- Driver’s license required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Accurate measuring and math skills required
- Strong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity
- 3 years of carpentry experience required
- Strong understanding of residential construction
- Experience with exterior systems preferred
- Ability to read scopes of work and follow job specifications
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid driver's license required
- Must have own basic tools
- Ability to work outdoors in Texas heat
- Strong work ethic and accountability
