Dental Assistant – Skillman, NJ | Modern, Patient-Focused Practice
Our growing dental practice in Skillman, NJ is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a close-knit, supportive office that values work-life balance, advanced technology, and providing high-quality patient care. This role is primarily clinical, with the opportunity to assist with front office and treatment coordination tasks as needed.
Schedule
Full-time
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Dedicated lunch hour
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor chairside during procedures
- Prepare and break down treatment rooms
- Take dental radiographs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment
- Support efficient patient flow throughout the day
- Communicate with patients to ensure comfort and understanding of treatment
- Assist with treatment coordination and front office tasks as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience
- X-ray license required
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with dental software (Oryx preferred; Dentrix/Eaglesoft familiarity a plus)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Pay & Compensation
- $25-$32 per hour (based on experience)
- 2 weeks PTO
