What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at GPS Dental?

As a part of our start-up, they’ll be plenty of opportunities for growth. This will be initially a part-time position that will lead to full-time after the first few months.
Schedule:
- Monday: 9AM – 5PM
- Wednesday: 9AM – 5PM
- Friday: 9AM - 1PM (Alternate weekends)
- Saturday: 8AM – 2PM (Alternate weekends)
Job Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet patients with a smile
- Support dentists and hygienists in charting and treatment planning
- Chairside assisting during dental and surgical procedures
- Taking radiographs and intraoral photos
- Maintain operatory stocking and cleanliness
- Provide a high standard of sterilization infection control
- Maintain accurate patient records.
Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- N.J. X-ray license required
- CPR certification required
- CDA/RDA certification strongly preferred
- Open Dental experience preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 1 year dental assisting experience preferred
