About the Role:
Wizard Cooling Inc is looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team in West Falls, NY! In this hands-on role, you'll operate Brake Press and Laser CNC equipment to help produce high-quality components that keep our customers running cool. Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC Brake Press and Laser cutting machines for production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate part fabrication
- Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to programs or tooling
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality goals
- Ability to streamline operations in department
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating LVD CNC Brake Press and/or CNC Laser cutting equipment required
- Comfortable on a PC
- Understanding of the LVD software (Cadman-B)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes, materials, and tolerances
- Ability to work independently and maintain consistent quality in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical training in machining is a plus
- Previous brake press experience required
