We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Cleveland team. This is an on-site, entry-level position focused on supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the firm. The Legal Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring that documents and payments are handled promptly, accurately, and securely.

- Retrieve, open, sort, and scan incoming mail and documents into the firm’s case management system.
- Process and prepare outgoing mail, including legal documents and payments, for delivery to courts, clients, and other recipients.
- Accurately post payments into the firm’s system, ensuring all details are complete and reconciled.
- Assist attorneys and staff with administrative support as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all firm and legal requirements.
- Perform other general office and administrative tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or prior office/legal experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn firm systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
