Job Summary:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Professional Nursing (LPN to RN) instructor located in Inverness, FL. The instructor will be responsible for teaching currently licensed Practical Nurses who are enrolled in the LPN-RN bridge program, developing curriculum, and providing instruction and supervision to nursing education students in clinical settings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Master's degree preferred
- Curriculum development and nursing education skills
- Experience in nursing and critical care medicine
- Providing individualized support and mentorship to students
- Supervise and evaluate students’ classroom, simulation lab, and clinical work
- Delivering lectures and facilitating classroom discussions while providing theoretical and practical instruction to students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Unrestricted State of Florida registered nursing license
- Three (3) documented years of working as a registered nurse in the State of Florida
- Familiarity with the scope of practice of the practical nurse
- Previous teaching experience in healthcare is a plus
