Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate portable bars for weddings, banquets, and private events
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
- Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with Maine liquor laws
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the event
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with the Events Team to support overall event success
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and occasional food service as needed
- Follow event timelines and communicate effectively with team leads
Skills & Requirements:
- Current Maine ServSafe Alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) preferred
- Previous bartending experience in an event, banquet, or hospitality setting preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktail preparation
- Excellent multitasking and customer service skills
- Team-player mindset and a positive, flexible attitude
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule
