What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commission-Based Sales Rep (Spirits) – Wisher Vodka position at Wisher?
Wisher Vodka is looking for a driven, relationship-first Sales Representative to grow our presence across Montgomery County, MD and surrounding markets.
This is not a passive role. You’ll be on the ground building accounts, getting placements, driving reorders, and turning Wisher into a go-to bottle behind the counter and on the shelf.
If you know how to walk into a store, read the room, and walk out with an order… we want you.
- Prospect and open new retail and on-premise accounts (liquor stores, bars, restaurants)
- Build strong relationships with store owners, managers, and buyers
- Secure placements, displays, and reorder commitments
- Coordinate and execute tastings to drive sell-through
- Educate staff and customers on Wisher Vodka and how to sell it
- Track account activity, orders, and opportunities
- Act as the local face of Wisher in your territory
- Sales mindset first. Experience in spirits, beer, wine, or CPG is a big plus
- Comfortable pitching, negotiating, and closing
- Strong communication skills and natural relationship builder
- Self-starter who doesn’t need hand-holding
- Ability to identify high-potential accounts and prioritize effectively
- Reliable transportation and willingness to be in-market consistently
- 21 years old
- Commission-based structure (uncapped earning potential)
- Bonuses for opening new accounts and hitting volume targets
- Optional paid tastings to support sell-through ($30/hr for select events)
- Can grow into a salaried role once proven sales conversions
