Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Employee Documentation
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires across all restaurant locations
- Ensure completion of employment documentation (I-9, W-4, direct deposit forms, etc.)
- Maintain organized employee personnel files and digital HR records
- Maintain candidate pipelines and track hiring progress
- Ensure employee documentation complies with federal, state, and New York labor laws
- Track required certifications, training, and work eligibility documents
- Support HR leadership with audits and compliance reviews
- Maintain HR systems and employee databases
- Serve as an HR contact for restaurant managers and staff across multiple locations
- Assist with employee transfers, promotions, and role changes between locations
- Coordinate HR communication and updates across the organization
- Assist with Workers Compensation filing, admin and follow up as needed
- Respond to basic HR inquiries from restaurant staff
- Assist with employee relations documentation when needed
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of HR, administrative, or hospitality experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage HR tasks across multiple restaurant locations
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant groups
- Familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
