What are the responsibilities and job description for the Detox Technician - RADT position at Wish Recovery?
Wish Recovery Luxury Treatment Center is looking to fill several positions with qualified individuals who share our mission for quality client care. We provide high-quality luxury rehab services for those struggling with addiction by combining clinical and therapeutic approaches to promote long-term recovery.
The Overnight ResidentialTechnician fulfills the assigned role as a part of the treatment team, maintaining the well-being of clients and integrity of the program. Provides client supervision and staff/unit support as assigned.
- Oversees clients and environment of care in an awake overnight capacity.
- Responsible for conducting rounds of client whereabouts and property safety checks at regular intervals throughout the evening.
- Document appropriately in client KIPU charts
- Completes admission/intake procedures on new clients including all paperwork, room assignments, and initial orientation.
- Conducts property searches of clients as required by program standards.
- Performs urine drug screen testing of clients as required.
- Performs Medication supervision as required.
- Provides transportation services including patient transportation
- Attends in-service training and educational workshops.
- Attends all required staff meetings.
- Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency. One year of experience in the mental health field or educational progress towards degree in a mental health field.
- Must have valid California driver’s license and liability insurance if driving personal vehicle on Center business.
- Specific qualifications may vary based on assignment.
Must have RADT or ability to obtain RADT and minimum of two years experience in the field of mental health and/or chemical dependency preferred. Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills.

The Candidate will have good time management skills and actively seek to accomplish tasks and be able to use a variety of methods and ideas to solve problems; whilst also being open to suggestions from others in order to find solutions. Awareness of EMR. Ability to work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and Management.
