Hiring: Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / AWS) – W2 Only (USC & GC Only)
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team building scalable, cloud-native platforms. If you’re passionate about Node.js, AWS, and modern backend architecture, this role is for you.
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – local or nearby candidates preferred)
Duration: 6 Months (with strong possibility of extension)
Employment Type: W2 ONLY
Work Authorization: US Citizens & Green Card holders ONLY
Job Summary
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll design and build robust backend systems, contribute to cloud-native architectures on AWS, and collaborate closely with DevOps and frontend teams. You’ll also leverage Gen AI tools to enhance development efficiency and code quality.
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)
- Expert backend development using JavaScript & TypeScript
- Strong experience with Node.js building RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Hands-on experience with AWS (applications, databases, CI/CD pipelines)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems design & architecture
- Experience using Gen AI tools for code generation, testing, or automation
