Job Description:
We are seeking a highly technical Systems Analyst to drive the system design and technical architecture for our Drug Cost Estimator (DCE) and Provider Search (PS) digital products.
In this role, you will serve as the technical backbone of our product team. You will partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams to decompose complex business and regulatory logic into precise, system-level specifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Decomposition: Translate business requirements into detailed system specifications, API definitions, and implementation-ready engineering user stories.
- System Logic Configuration: Define and map complex business rules for drug pricing (deductibles, tiers, phases), eligibility, and provider ranking/network filtering.
- Integration & API Mapping: Document end-to-end data flows and service orchestrations between pharmacy engines, directories, and indexing services.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Bridge the gap between product requirements ("the what") and engineering execution ("the how").
- Artifact Creation: Build robust technical diagrams, including data flow models, sequence diagrams, and service interaction matrices.
- Data Traceability & Quality: Identify edge cases, data transformation impacts, and root causes for production data errors to maintain consumer trust.
- Testing Support: Partner with QA teams to architect edge-case test scenarios and resolve logic/data integration bugs during UAT.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience in Technical Systems Analysis or Data Analysis.
- Technical Architecture: Strong proficiency in mapping APIs, distributed systems, and backend integrations.
- Data Literacy: Deep understanding of data modeling, data mapping, and parsing complex data pipelines.
- Agile Frameworks: Solid experience working within Agile product delivery teams (Scrum, SAFe).
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to trace data back through multiple systemic dependencies and debug complex, rule-based software environments.
Preferred Qualifications (High Priority):
- Direct experience with Healthcare, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), or Provider Data systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare concepts such as formularies, insurance benefit phases, pricing engines, or search platforms.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications or data-driven personalization engines.
