Technical Project Manager Financial Services (Networking/Connectivity) - Max Pay rate - $40/Hour on W2 OR $45/Hour on C2C
Location: Buffalo, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 9 Months (Potential Extension)
Seeking a client-facing Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of client onboarding, connectivity, and systems integration projects within a financial services environment. The role combines project management, stakeholder engagement, and technical coordination, with a strong focus on client implementations, integration solutions, and cross-functional collaboration.
< data-start="574" data-end="599">Key Responsibilities- Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, risk management, issue resolution, and delivery.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, business teams, IT teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
- Gather requirements, define project scope, create project plans, and provide status reporting.
- Coordinate client onboarding activities and implementation of financial products and connectivity solutions.
- Support system integrations involving APIs, file transfers, and connectivity platforms.
- Troubleshoot technical implementation issues and ensure compliance, security, and data integrity.
- Conduct training sessions, prepare documentation, and drive user adoption.
- Monitor post-implementation performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong Technical Project Management experience in systems implementation, integration, or client onboarding projects.
- Financial services background (banking, payments, treasury, capital markets, etc.).
- Knowledge of APIs, file transfer protocols, connectivity solutions, and integration concepts.
- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance, security, and risk management.
- Networking infrastructure or Cisco project experience.
- Experience with JIRA, MS Project, and Confluence.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar project management certifications.
