Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. Duties
- Record and reconcile financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks and others
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to ensure data integrity
- Process payroll and handle related tax filings while maintaining compliance with governmental regulations
- Maintain general ledger accounts through detailed account analysis and account reconciliation procedures
Skills
- Extensive experience with accounting software including QuickBooks (Online & Desktop).
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or similar) for data analysis, account reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger management
- Ability to perform bank reconciliation, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with 10-key typing proficiency for data entry accuracy
- Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, and budget management to support comprehensive financial operations
