Position Overview
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting functions, and providing bookkeeping support to a variety of business clients. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts for clients.
- Process and record journal entries and account transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with clients to address accounting inquiries and provide financial support.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, firm policies, and established procedures.
- Maintain organized and accurate client records and documentation.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
- Previous experience working within a CPA firm or public accounting environment.
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification or willingness to obtain certification.
