The Executive Assistant provides administrative and professional levelassistancetotheAcademic Affairs - Provost's Office.The individual performs a variety of activities, in a high-paceddynamicenvironment andunder limited supervisionincluding, but not limited to advanced administrative support, communication efforts,projectcoordination,processmanagement, andserviceexcellence.
Key Job Responsibilities:The Executive Assistantjoins ahigh-functioning, collaborativeteam that works on projects with impact acrossthe university. The position is a highly confidential position that requiresa high levelof attention to detail, a need forstrongtechnologicalproficiency,andexperiencewith project management and/or personnelmanagement/ policy.The university relies heavily on positive interactions with the provost's office, thereforeanindividual who is committed to service excellence and promotinganinclusive environment is essential for this role.The position reports to theAssociate Provostand alsotakes direction fromtheExecutive Assistant II and theProvost.
- Provide advancedadministrativesupportformembers of theProvost'sOffice,andothers, asassigned
- Maintain the associateprovost'scalendar, schedule all meetings and appointments.Collaborateinthe maintenance of calendars, schedules, and appointments. Respond independently to requests for members' attendance at campus functions andspecial events.
- Compile information for special reports and projects; create reports and prepare correspondence as assigned.
- Manageassociatedinternal/externalweb pages.
- Arrange/coordinatealltravelforthe associateprovostand others, as assigned.
- Maintain processes and support committees according to deadlines assuring accuracy based on policies and procedures. Act as a resource person of Academic Affairs, providing input as needed.
- Coordinate events/projectsas directed, including processes associated with shared governance such as the Faculty Personnel Action Portal.
- Archivedocuments, as needed.
- Serve asdepartmentcontact for managing printprocessing,workorders, key audits, computeraudits,andpurchasing
- Work with theprovost,associateprovost,andothers as assigned,to provide services as needed.
- Provide recruitment support, as needed.
- Work independently on miscellaneous projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:3-5years' experienceprovidingadvanced administrativesupportin a professional environment
3-5years' experiencewithproject management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent judgment, including ability tomaintainconfidentiality
Good workhabits, such as attendance, punctuality, accountability, thoroughness,abilityto prioritize work
Ability to work independently and as part of acollaborativeteam environment.
Strong commitmentserviceexcellence.

Attention to detail, proofreading and editing skills
Associate's Degree
Experience in a higher education environment
3-5 years' experience withacademic personnel management and/or policy
