JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Project Manager position will provide project
management and technical assistance to the technical colleges regarding
the Rural Health Transformation (RHT) program. This position will be
responsible for providing statewide leadership and coordination in the
development, implementation, improvement and expansion of rural
healthcare programs, including career pathways. The position will work
closely with technical college healthcare deans, associate deans, career
prep staff, and coordinate with System Office staff on program and
curriculum development. This position will also manage the grant review
process and evaluate grant proposals. The incumbent will provide
technical expertise on allowable activities and consult with college
staff on the implementation and improvement of grant-funded activities.
The Compliance Manager position will ensure the technical colleges and
System Office are meeting the grant reporting and audit requirements.
The Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program grant requires quarterly
and annual progress reports on milestone implementation and metrics as
well as confirmation of eligible expenditures. This position will be
responsible for collecting and verifying all required data for the
reports, compiling the reports and ensuring the information is sent to
Department of Health Services (DHS) by the reporting period deadline.
This position will also be responsible for pre-auditing financial
transactions, documentation, and processes to ensure the technical
colleges maintain compliance with eligible uses of funds and
program-specific limitations. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimally qualified candidates will have each of the
following: Experience with project management or program compliance
(organizing and leading workgroups, developing and implementing
programs, developing timetables and monitoring program/compliance for
progress, etc.) Experience overseeing budgets or reporting for grants or
programs (reviewing program progress, identifying risks, resolving
compliance or audit issues, etc.) Experience researching and analyzing
laws, rules and/or regulations In addition, highly qualified candidates
will have one or more of the following: Experience working within
health, human services or public grant programs Experience developing or
implementing grant policies, procedures or tools to improve compliance
and consistency Experience leading, facilitating or collaborating with a
