Minimal Qualifications:
Personal Attributes: Follow agency Code of Conduct and Leadership Code of Conduct; adhere to established policies and procedures of the agency and of all funding sources; conduct self in an ethical manner; maintain professional and respectful relationships with program staff, other WCS staff, clients and all external persons and agencies involved with service provision; sensitivity toward cultural, ethnic and disability issues; demonstrate commitment to agency values and mission. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Possess excellent clinical skills, especially related to mental health and substance use disorders. Have knowledge of DSM V and psychotropic medication/side effects. Ability to communicate and work effectively in a positive manner with staff and clients. Possess excellent leadership skills to be able to cross train and/or cover for the Clinical Coordinator in her/her absence. Ability to respond appropriately in crisis situations. Possess excellent organizational and computer/typing skills. Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask. Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living such as shopping, cleaning, and cooking. Ability to set professional boundaries with case managers, support staff, clients, etc. |

Working Conditions: Work is performed in the office, the community and in clients' homes; clients may be unstable and symptomatic at times; hours average at least 40 hours per week; flexible work schedule includes some weekends, after hours hotline coverage, and holidays.
Physical Demands: Position is mobile with time spent in the community, including transporting clients, home visits and attending meetings; driving throughout Milwaukee County; must be able to go up and down stairs and lift and carry 20 pounds. |
