Position Overview:
Wisconsin Brewing Company LLC is currently seeking a skilled 1st Shift Forklift Operator to join our team. The candidate will play an important role in assisting with warehouse operations by safely operating a forklift to move materials within our brewery facility.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the brewery facility.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, pallets, and other containers.
- Maintain organized inventory in designated storage areas.
- Support general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment and report any issues promptly.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Prior experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with forklift operation and safety best practices.
- Capacity to lift heavy objects and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Effective communication skills and a cooperative team-oriented attitude.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Possession of a valid forklift certification/license is required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
