In addition, the role assists with expediting freight, addressing and resolving transit-related issues, and managing claims. The Traffic Coordinator also acts as a liaison between WireMasters and its freight partners, facilitating clear communication and collaboration to support transportation operations.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments including, where necessary, parcel, less than a truck load (LTL), truckload, and cross-border freight movements with freight and brokerage partners.
- Schedule pickups and dispatch freight using designated carrier platforms and customer routing instructions.
- Assist with tracking freight and proactively communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
- Assist with expediting freight delivery when issues arise.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Lading (BOLs), commercial invoices, and export or trade documentation.
- Create and submit Advanced Ship Notifications (ASNs) through customer portals or customer-defined processes.
- Generate and apply customer-required shipping labels, as needed.
- Review customer requirements, generate account shipping instructions, and promote awareness of customer shipping requirements throughout the organization.
- Prepare, review and maintain documentation needed for international shipments, including country-of-origin statements, free trade certificates, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant clearance of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Assist with the order release process for trade compliance screenings including but not limited to denied-party checks, end-use verification.
- Generate commercial invoices with accurate information and descriptions that meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Assist with filing, monitoring, and finalizing freight claims related to loss, damage, or service failures
- Support Traffic and Customer activities across multiple WireMasters sites as needed.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehousing, or trade compliance is a plus.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems, carrier platforms, portals and standard MS Office tools.
- Strong customer service skills
- Understanding of freight documentation, customs processes (or ability to learn quickly).
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
