What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales position at WireMasters?
Basic Function: The Inside Sales position will be focused on maintaining WireMasters’ reputation in the industry for being the fastest to return quotes. These individuals will be experienced and efficient in the sales process and they will be responsible to complete the entire process necessary for quoting material to our customers including, but not limited to, sourcing non-stock items. As an Inside Sales representative, you will be assigned a specific list of non-strategic accounts and will be expected to prepare yearly goals for the assigned accounts. These individuals may be physically located in various locations throughout the world and account assignments may align with the individual’s physical location to support standard business-hour coverage across a variety of world-wide time zones. These individuals will be expected to meet or exceed those goals for the assigned accounts on both a Quarterly and a Yearly basis.

- Respond to all quote requests within 2 business hours. Quote in-stock items within 4 business hours and advise status of all quote requests every 8 business hours.
- Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned accounts.
- Encourage WireMasters’ customers to WireMasters’ eCommerce platform.
- Follow-up on all RFQs, utilizing the automated follow-up tool as much as possible.
- Source non-stock material from approved/recommended sources.
- Complete the entire sales process (quoting, sourcing & booking orders) for all customers.
- Maintain customer discounts (from book pricing) for all customers.
- Maintain clear and precise customer comments for each account which would describe any customer-specific methodology required to processing quotes for each customer.
- Seek to understand customer needs and take every opportunity to sell additional product. Suggestive sell all product categories and groups to all customers.
- Identify key contacts and decision makers at each account and develop appropriate and productive business relationships with these individuals by offering additional WireMasters services and exploring opportunities to expand WireMasters’ integration with every customer.
- Stay up-to-date and informed of WireMasters products and services. Research customer questions regarding products and services and respond in a timely manner with appropriate and complete answers.
- Go the extra mile to meet or exceed WireMasters’ customer’s needs.
- Investigate the competitive landscape as much as possible at assigned accounts and identify opportunities for WireMasters to further penetrate the account. Report competitive information to management.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely manner, notify management of problems and suggest corrective actions.
- Attend training activities, sales meetings, and other related sales activities.
- Identify potential Strategic Accounts from the assigned accounts. Give particular attention to nurturing and building relationships with these accounts with the goal of growing them into a Strategic Account and passing their account ownership over to a Strategic Account Manager for further development.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
