Typical Duties:
- Create accurate, detailed take-offs of site plans of electrical materials and labor required.
- Analyze contract specifications, drawing, schedules, and all other project documents.
- Identify technical issues in written format to submit pre-bid clarifications.
- Communicate with suppliers, and internal team to formulate accurate estimates.
- Minimal travel to participate at certain site visits to gather all necessary data for accurate estimation.
- Works collaboratively with the estimating team to develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the electrical activities.
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems, access control, CCTV, security, data communications and their typical components, and installation procedures to accurately estimate the scope of projects and potential costs.
- Exceptional communication skills to clearly present and explain electrical cost and interface of estimate.
- Detail-oriented with ability to understand complex blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications.
- Problem-solving skills to adjust estimates and proposals in response to unforeseen project complications or changes in scope.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations important.
- Experience with estimating software, Bluebeam a plus.

Salary : $50 - $60
