Your role in our team:
As an Electromechanic Trainer at WITRON, you will play a pivotal role in building training capability for one of our main clients by preparing and mentoring their trainers. You will ensure they have technical expertise, instructional skills, and confidence to deliver high-quality electromechanical training. This includes guiding them through best practices, supporting knowledge transfer, and maintaining consistency in training standards across locations. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of client training programs and contribute to operational excellence.

With a strong electromechanics background, you confidently guide trainers to master complex systems and deliver consistent, high-quality instruction. You communicate clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and foster collaboration. Organization and problem-solving come naturally, and you maintain high standards in every training session. You’re proactive, solution-focused, and flexible—ready to travel extensively (up to 75%) to support client training programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-years’ experience as an electromechanic
- A post-secondary education diploma/certificate is highly preferred
- Experience as a trainer is an asset
Skills/Experience Required:
- Practical, analytical, and technologically proficient
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, and instructional skills
- Must be able to perform all electromechanics tasks
- Ability to climb vertical ladders and work at heights up to 100 feet (30 meters) with training and PPE, such as fall protection harness
- Ability to work in temperature conditions ranging from 55°F to -15°F (13°C to -26°C), (PPE provided)
- Must be able to work, days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver all types of onsite training related, but not limited, to electromechanical aspects
- Provide and monitor on-the-job training
- Perform evaluation of trainee learning retention
- Complete and submit all documentation related to training completions
- Support new employees
- Perform weekly walkthrough for verification of work methods
- Participate in monthly trainer meeting
- Help create and keep up to date training documents
- Participate in the creation/maintenance/review of maintenance documents
- Participate actively on improvement projects
- Availability to travel up to 75% as required for training or support
- Perform other related duties as assigned
