Winterton Painting II, Inc. is looking for Painters and Drywall Finishers to join their team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Apply paint to surfaces including dry wall, walls, floors, doors, and cabinets.
- Apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes.
- Scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting.
- Clean walls to ensure proper adherence.
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection.
- Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives.
- Apply touchups or second coats.
- Operates, cleans, and maintains all painting equipment including brush, roll, sprayers, etc.
- Work on ladders or scaffolding to reach high ceilings or walls.
- All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Driver’s License required.
- Commercial painting experience with 18” roller preferred.
- One year as a painter in a residential and a commercial, industrial operations setting, both interior and exterior.
- 10 hour OSHA safety class completed required

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
