JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY: Responsible for the providing rejuvenating and relaxing massages to clients.
A friendly therapeutic environment in the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains is seeking an eager, self-motivated licensed massage therapist to join our team of professionals.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide consistent professional massage and body treatment in accordance with office protocols and accepted certification practices
- Ensure client comfort in a luxury spa setting
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Time management abilities
- Demonstrated sales and customer service skills
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law
- Must have genuine interest in helping clients achieve wellness
- Practice necessary precautions while working with clients
- Ability to complete several treatments per shift
- Great listening skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training and Experience Guidelines:
- Completion of training program in massage therapy.
- State licensure through the Department of Nursing.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Knowledge of:
- Human anatomy
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid massage therapy license
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is performed in an indoor climate controlled environment
- Incumbent wears prescribed personal equipment protection.
- Physical demands consist of standing for long periods of time
