Dispatcher Manager (Winter Season)
Winter Services is an essential business and is the Tri State areas premier Snow & Ice Management Company is seeking Seasonal Snow Technicians to service our Clients Northern, Central and Southern NJ locations. Our services include snow plowing, sidewalk clearing, salting and deicing, snow hauling, and snow removal using the latest technology and strategies in the snow and ice removal industry for corporate clients.
Our shifts are on-call and range from 6 to 12 hours and are often overnight depending on the storm event. May require longer hours for larger storms. The season starts on the first snow fall.
The dispatcher manager must be available to work all snow Events. You will need to build a team of Dispatcher’s and assistant manager(s). You will need to be available to staff for the storms. You must write SOP’s for Dispatch and update as opportunity comes along.
The Dispatch manager and the Dispatch team are the first people to talk with our Snow Warriors, they are the ones who provides our Snow Warriors with all the information they will need out in the field. Dispatcher Manager is responsible for staffing the storm with enough Dispatchers before the storm to help us gather the troops. The Dispatcher team are the first to arrive and are often the last to leave.
Winter Services Dispatch Manager must:
18 years of age or older
Work well under pressure while maintaining the calm
Ability to communicate effectively & timely with colleagues in a fast paced environment
Must have experience training & mentoring others in a positive & productive way
Must have previous experience working in a Dispatch position
Must ensure that all paperwork is completed before, during and after each Event
Must be knowledgeable in Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to multi-task, think quickly and able to provide solutions
Have a smart phone (to download and use our attendance tracker App)
Have dependable transportation
You must attend and pass training and a background check
Able to lawfully work in the USA
