Winter Construction is hiring a Project Manager to support our SPACES Division, overseeing interior and specialty projects including tenant buildouts, adaptive reuse, and historic renovations. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, budget performance, and client satisfaction align with Winter’s standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing small to mid-sized commercial construction projects ($1M–$10M)
- Proven ability to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and cost control
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and risk management standards
- Experience supporting preconstruction efforts, including estimating and buyout
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-turn environment

Responsibilities:
- Manage SPACES division projects ranging from $1M–$10M from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts
- Lead subcontractor buyout, contract management, and procurement efforts
- Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure alignment on schedule, sequencing, and field execution
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Track project financials, including cost reports, billings, and forecasts
- Lead project meetings with clients, architects, and subcontractors
- Identify and resolve project challenges related to constructability, scheduling, quality, and safety
- Support project start-up activities and oversee closeout processes
- Assist with preconstruction efforts, including estimating, budgeting, and proposal support
- Contribute to business development efforts, including RFQ/RFP responses and client presentations
