Estimator I/II | Full-time | Onsite
Winter Construction is growing and looking to add an Estimator to our Preconstruction team in Atlanta. This role is ideal for someone early in their estimating career who wants exposure to a wide range of commercial projects and a clear path for growth.
You’ll support the development of estimates from concept through bid, working closely with senior estimators, project teams, and trade partners.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in developing detailed estimates
- Solicit and level subcontractor and vendor bids
- Review drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps and risks
- Support conceptual, schematic, and hard bid estimates
- Maintain cost data and assist with bid packaging
- Collaborate with internal teams throughout preconstruction
Qualifications:
- 1–5 years of estimating or construction experience with a commercial GC
- Exposure to quantity takeoffs, bidding, and subcontractor coordination
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Working knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Background in one or more of the following markets is a plus: Education, Office, Historic Preservation, Adaptive Re-Use, Hospitality, or Municipal
