Project Administrator
Location: Atlanta, GA | Hybrid schedule with 2 days onsite per week
About the Role
Winter Construction is seeking a Project Administrator to support our project teams across commercial and institutional projects in the Atlanta area. This role plays a key part in keeping projects organized and moving forward by supporting administrative, contractual, and financial processes throughout the project lifecycle.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in supporting construction projects within a general contractor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project start-up activities and maintain project information in the project management system
- Prepare, route, and track owner contracts, subcontracts, and related documentation
- Maintain organized project files, including contracts, insurance, and payment documentation
- Assist with jobsite setup and ongoing administrative support for project teams
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoices, lien waivers, and owner pay applications
- Assist with subcontractor change orders, cost transfers, and monthly project reporting
- Support project closeout activities, including final pay applications and document archiving
- Communicate regularly with project teams, accounting, and operations
Qualifications
- Prior project administration experience with a general contractor required
- Approximately 3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency with lien waivers, pay applications, change orders, contract administration, and accounts payable
- Experience working in Procore strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skill
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Local to the Atlanta area or willing to relocate
