Mammography Technologist – Temporary | Full-Time | Day Shift
We are currently hiring Mammography Technologists for temporary, full-time opportunities in Staten Island, Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY. The Mammography Technologist will perform mammography exams and provide quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
The ideal Mammography Technologist will have approximately 2 years of mammography experience, with experience performing routine mammography procedures. Experience with breast biopsy procedures and stereotactic (stereo) mammography is a plus.
Mammography Technologist Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography examinations according to established protocols and safety standards
- Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Assist with biopsy and stereotactic mammography procedures when needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow all applicable radiation safety and patient care guidelines
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care
Mammography Technologist Requirements:
- Approximately 2 years of mammography experience preferred
- Mammography experience required
- Experience with biopsy and stereotactic mammography is a plus
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a busy clinical environment
- ARRT certification in Mammography preferred/required
- New York State licensure as applicable
