What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Inspector position at Winston Industries?
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to help ensure our products and processes meet the highest standards, every time.
At Winston, quality isn’t something we check at the end. It’s something we build in from the start.
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you’re right in the middle of that. You’re the one making sure what leaves this building actually meets the standard we expect and the one our customers count on.
You’ve got a sharp eye, a low tolerance for “close enough,” and the confidence to call something out when it’s not right. You don’t just find problems; you help fix them for good.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
Owning Quality at Every Step
You’ll inspect incoming materials, in-process builds, and finished products before they ship. Sheet metal, hardware, electronics - you’ll make sure it all meets spec.
Catching Issues (and Driving Solutions)
When something’s off, you’ll document it, flag it, and help drive corrective and preventive actions. You’ll be part of the root cause process, not just handing problems off.
Working Across the Team
You’ll work closely with engineering and production to solve issues quickly and keep things moving. You’ll also be a go-to when customer-related quality issues come up.
Tracking Performance and Improving It
You’ll enter and analyze data, monitor trends, and help establish baseline quality metrics. If something can be improved, you’ll help make it happen.
Holding the Standard (and Raising It)
You’ll support training, help onboard new team members, and set the tone for what “Winston quality” really looks like on the floor.
What We’re Looking For
At Winston, we know profits matter. But chasing dollars isn’t what drives our decisions. What does? People. We genuinely appreciate every single contribution our team members bring to the table, and we work hard to make Winston a better place to be every day. Culture isn’t an afterthought here - it’s the core. We love to grow talent from within, but we’re just as open to fresh ideas and knowledge from outside voices. Are we perfect? Nope. But we’re honest about that, and we stay focused on our vision: to make money and have fun doing it. After all, we helped revolutionize fried chicken, so you’d better believe we know how to keep things crispy, fun, and worth savoring.
The Details
Apply, and let’s get to work.
