What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dallas - Business Litigation Associate position at Winstead PC?
Winstead PC is seeking a 3-6 year attorney for a position with our Business Litigation practice group in Dallas under Joshua Sandler and our other litigation shareholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Complex business litigation: breach of contract and fraud disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, breach of fiduciary duty matters, and commercial contracts.
Fiduciary litigation: representation of individual trustees, executors, and beneficiaries relating to high value estates and disputes including breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence, and lack of capacity.
Writing skills: Candidates should be proficient at complex legal drafting and must provide a writing sample.
Advocacy Skills: Candidates should excel in oral advocacy and actively seek opportunities to be in the courtroom.
Strong academics: Seeking candidates in the top third of their law school class. Must provide transcript.
