Winooski Middle School seeks a long-term, full-time substitute Art teacher from February 1 through the end of the school year. In this position, you will join an enthusiastic and committed team of staff members dedicated to the education and development of young adolescents. You will design daily arts learning for middle school students while integrating other transferable skills. You will collaborate extensively with colleagues to support all learners as well as to plan Expeditions, which are learning experiences rich in interdisciplinary opportunities.
You will also facilitate an advisory for a small group of students to build relationships, share information, and have fun! Ideal candidates will have a love of middle schoolers, actively strive for cultural competency and equity in education, and a mid-level teaching endorsement in Art.
