What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician - Night Shift position at Winona?
Biewer Sawmill Winona, Inc. is looking to add a full-time Millwright to our team in Winona, MS. This position will maintain all equipment in a manner that allows for safe operation, maintain equipment that prevents any downtime from occurring from mechanical failure, and maintain the inside and outside of all buildings
Night Shift – Monday-Thursday 5:30pm-5:30am
Accountabilities:
- Keep equipment operational at all times
- Perform preventative and regular maintenance on equipment, buildings, tools, and any/all machinery
- Make mechanical adjustments where needed to meet product demands
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance problems and/or repairs
- Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Ensure the maintenance department is kept orderly and clean
- Responsibly follow all safety procedures and policies, working together with co-workers to ensure a safe work environment and culture
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience is preferred
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to troubleshoot
- Have a working knowledge of welding, electrical, hydraulic, and control technology
- Familiar with safe equipment practices
