About The Role
The Production Team Member – Machine Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining production equipment that supports the construction of premium pontoon boats. This position helps ensure accuracy, quality, efficiency, and on-time production. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient cutting of materials used in the fabrication of pontoon boats and related components. Machine Operators must follow safety procedures, read and interpret work orders and measurements, and perform quality checks to ensure all parts meet production specifications. Working closely with other manufacturing team members, you will help maintain production schedules while contributing to the overall quality and craftsmanship of our products.

What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor Tube Seamers, CNC Routers, Press Brakes, Shears, Benders, and other production machinery
- Set up machines according to production specifications
- Perform routine quality checks and verify precision of machined components
- Identify and report defects or production issues
- Conduct basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Follow all safety guidelines and report concerns immediately
- Collaborating with production team members to achieve daily goals
- Maintain accurate production records and machine settings
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to meet and maintain high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs or adjustments.
- Support a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifying opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards.
- Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Tube Seamers, CNC Routers, Press Brakes, Shears, Benders, and similar equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to read a tape measure
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus
- Must have the ability to perform all physical requirements required for the position, including but not limited to ability to stand, walk, push, pull, full range of motion, bend, kneel, climb, squat for 8 hours and lift upward of 50 lbs.
