About the Role
What You’ll Do
- Inspect rails and finished products for defects.
- Sand and remove minor imperfections.
- Operate hand tools and the Rail Brush Machine.
- Read production schedules and prints.
- Move and place rails in storage and shipping racks.
- Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Ability to read a tape measure and production prints.
- Experience using hand tools and small shop equipment.
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred (2 years ideal)
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, etc.) throughout the shift
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Indoor manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to varying conditions
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
