SUMMARY:
Working as a member of the Shipping Team operating heavy equipment, the Big Lift Driver is responsible for moving pontoon boats throughout the facilities while following all safety policies and procedures.
Individuals in this role must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced and team-focused environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a big lift in a safe manner
- Load and unload pontoon boats
- Place boats in proper areas and maintain organization
- Perform daily safety checks and basic preventative maintenance on the big lift
- Ability to respond quickly to numerous requests in a fast-paced work environment
- Assignments given by supervisor as required
- Supports a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least 5 years of proven experience driving a big lift
- Must have the ability to perform all physical requirements required for the position, including but not limited to ability to stand, walk, push, pull, full range of motion, bend, kneel, climb, squat for 8 hours and lift upward of 50 lbs.
- Ability to adapt to climate, inside and outside
- Must display good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to follow policies and procedures and wear required PPE
- Must be able to multi-task while remaining calm under pressure
