This role blends electrical engineering expertise with controls engineering, emphasizing user interface integration and multiplexing technologies to enhance the functionality and user experience of modern RVs. Key Responsibilities Design & Development • Design control systems that integrate intuitive user interfaces for enhanced interaction. • Develop and implement multiplexing solutions tailored to RV control systems. • Support product development and contribute to the design and functionality of motorhomes. System Implementation • Implement control algorithms to optimize performance and reliability of automated systems. • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of UI components with electrical systems. Testing & Troubleshooting • Conduct system-level testing and validation to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance. • Diagnose and resolve issues related to control systems, electrical components, user interfaces, and multiplexing. Documentation & Support • Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, wiring diagrams, and user manuals. • Provide technical support and training to internal teams and end users. • Assist production teams with the implementation and launch of new products. Qualifications Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field. • Proven experience in controls engineering, with a focus on user interface design and multiplexing systems. • Familiarity with PLC programming and control system architecture. Skills • Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical systems in a production or field environment. • Proficiency in CAD software and control system design tools (NX / Team Center Preferred). • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
